So what's been going on with Dodge while Origin was taking place?

Well, if any of you know what Dodge is like, it ought to be no surprise to you that she fell into state of depression. Her emotions ran wild, her grades slipped, and what little friendships she had left deteriorated.

Dodge continued to live her life in this condition, as a loner who simply wouldn't open up. Even after the community's bout of mutant-phobic hysteria following the school-burning incident had settled, she was still struggling to get over the loss of her best friend.

And then, all of a sudden, something managed to force its way through the fabric of time and space to send her a message.

I haven't forgotten you...

Dodge bathed in the soul-warming light that carried this message. She knew immediately who it was from. The light shone brighter, acting as an anesthetic for Dodge's mind and body, and before she knew it, she was drifitng in a dream world. Had she been fully aware of her surroundings at that time, her sense of reality would have become twisted.
